Since my abomination of all of the obvious features: social, moral, legal, will, I hope be taken for granted, let me ask this. Has anything been said about the ecological impact of this thing?

There's been some talk about its effect on the Eastern Sonoran and Mojave desert areas. When the Tijuana border area became, essentially, militarized, the coyotes began taking people through the more fragile desertified ecologies, which then started to be patrolled by INS SUVs, etc.

For some reason, I can't get the "Continue reading here..." part to open, which is the part which confirms what I'm saying, but Yglesias has some contraian things to say about a wall here. It's the post entitled "Why not both?", in case your attempt has the same link problems as mine.

w/d,
One of the charming pecularities of Blogger software is that once you enable the extended entry form for a single post, you've enabled it for all of them.

If I actually have written something below the fold, I always indicate so much above the fold. Sorry about that: here, the title, picture, and caption are all she wrote.

Nah, I wasn't talking about your site, I was talking about a problem I was having with Yglesias's site.
